About the Game

Cyberpunk 2077, developed by CD Projekt Red (creators of The Witcher series) and released in 2020, is an action role-playing game set in the dystopian Night City, an open world set in the Cyberpunk universe created by Mike Pondsmith. The game is played from a first-person perspective, with players assuming the role of the customizable mercenary known as V.

The narrative follows V's quest for a unique bio-chip implant said to grant immortality, intertwining their fate with the legendary rockstar and revolutionary Johnny Silverhand (portrayed by Keanu Reeves), whose digital ghost becomes implanted in V's head. Gameplay focuses on fluid combat utilizing ranged weapons, melee combat, and powerful hacking abilities through cybernetic enhancements. Exploration of the dense, vertical city and interaction with its diverse inhabitants through branching dialogue choices significantly impact the story and V's journey.

Despite a controversial launch primarily due to performance issues on older consoles, Cyberpunk 2077 received praise for its compelling narrative, deep characters, immersive world-building, stunning visuals, and detailed customization options. Significant post-launch updates and the Phantom Liberty expansion have greatly improved the technical stability and overall experience. This mobile adaptation aims to bring the gritty atmosphere and core RPG freedom of Night City to mobile players.
